What Is A Dunk Tank?
A dunk tank is a carnival game in which participants throw balls at a target in an attempt to dunk a person sitting on a seat above a tank of water. When the target is hit, the seat is released and the person falls into the water below. It is often used as a form of entertainment or fundraising at events such as fairs, carnivals, and school functions.
How Does It Work?
Our dunk tank consists of a large tank of water, a seat suspended above the tank by a frame, and a target at the front of the tank. The person sitting on the seat is known as the “dunkee.” To play the game, participants take turns throwing balls at the target. If they hit the target, a mechanism is triggered that releases the seat and the dunkee falls into the tank of water below. The tank is equipped with a ladder or steps for the dunkee to climb out of the water.
